FAQ
-
What is a virtual skincare consultation?
A virtual consultation is an online session where I assess your skin, discuss your concerns, and create a personalized skincare routine—all through video chat. You’ll get professional guidance without leaving your home.
-
How does a virtual consultation work?
Once you book, we’ll schedule a video call at a time that works for you. You’ll show me your skin, and I’ll ask questions about your routine, lifestyle, and concerns. I’ll provide product recommendations and step-by-step instructions tailored to your skin.
-
Can virtual consultations replace in-person facials?
Virtual consultations are designed to guide your daily routine, address concerns, and help you achieve results at home. While they don’t replace hands-on treatments, many clients find them incredibly effective for maintaining healthy skin.
-
Will I receive a written routine or plan?
Yes! After our session, you’ll receive a personalized plan with product recommendations, step-by-step instructions, and tips tailored to your lifestyle.
-
Do I need any special equipment or products?
All you need is a smartphone, tablet, or computer with a camera. You don’t need to have specific products beforehand—I’ll recommend what’s best for your skin after our session.
-
Can I buy Circadia products without a facial?
Yes! You can shop our Circadia skincare line in the spa or online through our Shop page.
-
What if I have sensitive skin or allergies?
I’ll ask about any sensitivities or allergies during our consultation and customize your routine to ensure it’s safe, gentle, and effective for your unique skin needs.
-
What if I live outside of Las Vegas?
No problem! Virtual consultations are available for clients anywhere. You’ll receive guidance and product recommendations shipped directly to you.
-
How often should I get a facial?
Facials aren’t a one-time fix — since your skin renews itself every 28 days, booking every 4–6 weeks ensures lasting results and keeps your skin healthy and glowing.
-
Do you customize facials for my skin type?
Yes! Every treatment is tailored to your skin’s needs — whether it’s hydration, acne, or anti-aging.
-
How should I prepare for a facial?
For the best results, arrive with a clean face free of makeup. Avoid exfoliating or using strong skincare products (like retinol or acids) 2–3 days before your facial. If you’re waxing, schedule it at least 24–48 hours beforehand. This helps your skin stay calm and ready to fully benefit from your treatment.
-
Are there any reasons to avoid facials?
Yes. You should avoid facials if you have active cold sores, open wounds, severe sunburn, or certain skin infections. If you’re using prescription acne medications like Accutane (within the last 6–12 months), we’ll need to delay treatments until your skin is safe. Always let your esthetician know about any medications, skin conditions, or allergies before your appointment.
-
What should I expect during my first facial?
During your first facial, we’ll start with a consultation to understand your skin type, concerns, and goals. Then, you’ll enjoy a customized treatment including cleansing, skin analysis, exfoliation, extractions (if needed), a relaxing massage, and a nourishing mask. We’ll finish with product recommendations tailored to your skin. You’ll leave feeling refreshed, glowing, and confident in your skin.
